Possible surrender in gas & dash death

A man wanted in a gas and dash robbery in Mississauga that resulted in the death of an attendant almost three years ago is ready to negotiate a surrender.

Lawyer Gary Batasar says Abdullahi Mohamoud, 24, has been in contact with him about the hit and run that killed a 62-year-old father who worked at a Petro-Canada station — but he’s not admitting any guilt.

Mohamoud’s whereabouts have been unknown since spring 2012, when he’s alleged to have skipped bail. He is also wanted in Edmonton on a sex assault charge, and for allegedly using a gun to threaten an officer.
