Positive employment survey

The hiring climate for Canada in the third quarter is expected to be relatively positive.

A Manpower employment outlook survey suggests businesses expect to do some hiring between July and September, but not as much as they did in the same quarter of last year.

23% of employers plan to boost their payrolls, while 5% expect cutbacks.

The other 70% expect to maintain their current staffing levels.
