Port Colborne man charged with child pornography

Police have arrested a Port Colborne man in connection with a child pornography investigation.

Back in September 2019, Niagara police launched an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.

On Wednesday, officers charged 35-year-old Joseph Crawford, of Port Colborne.

He has been charged with four counts of possession of child pornography, and three counts each of accessing child pornography and make available child pornography.

Crawford is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Thursday.
