Port Colborne assault

Police are investigating after a 36 year old woman reported she’d been attacked in Port Colborne shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

It happened on King Street in the area of the former Lighthouse Cleaners.

The woman says she was choked and lost consciousness.

She recalls waking up and being accompanied by an overweight man in his 20s or 30s that she didn’t recognize.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
