Popular children’s Christmas book recalled due to mould

Health Canada is warning Canadians after hundreds of copies of “That’s not my reindeer” were recalled due to mould concerns.
Mould was found in a carton containing the books. The infected products were sold between August and December. HarperCollins Canada, the book’s distributor, says they sold 636 units in Canada in that time.
Only the Canadian shipment of 01848/24 with ISBN 9781409556046 is affected by this recall. The batch numbers can be found at the bottom left hand of the back cover.
Officials say that consumers should immediately take the recalled books away from young children and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
“That’s not my reindeer” is a colour illustrated board books with half die-cut pages featuring tactile elements.
As of December 14, 2020, the company has received no reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada.
