Political storm over recording of U.S. President Donald Trump

A recorded conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and others, has caused a political storm south of the border.

The recording includes a dizzying array of claims by Trump that he won the presidential vote in the state, as well as his call for Raffensperger to find a way to make it official.

Following its release to the media, at least one state official in Georgia has called for an investigation into the rambling affair.

Trump has fired back and is suing Raffensperger over the call being leaked.
