Political analyst Keith Leslie speaks on Carney’s push through Alberta

CHCH News anchor Matt Ingram spoke with political analyst Keith Leslie as Mark Carney continues his campaign through Alberta.

Leslie spoke about why he thinks the Liberal party’s prospects are on the rise in the very conservative province.

He also talked about Carney’s announcement Wednesday to maintain the Impact Assessment Act, and possible alternative approaches to how the country handles big energy projects.

Ingram asked Leslie if Carney’s Alberta trip has helped him overcome his branding as “anti-energy” by the conservatives.
