Police’s arson unit investigates truck fire on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police’s arson unit is investigating after a truck explosion on the mountain Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded around 9:40 a.m. to the area of Churchill and Wavell avenues for a report of a truck fire.

Officers arrived to an empty 2016 black Dodge Ram engulfed in flames.

Police say no one was injured during the fire.

Investigators say the truck was not from the area and it has been towed from the scene.
