Police warning of attacks in Welland

Police are warning people in Welland to be on the lookout for a grey or black pickup truck after two separate attacks.

Thursday night, two 13 year old boys were charged and pushed up against a wall in Chippawa Park by a man in a pickup.

They weren’t hurt.

Then this morning a 38 year old man was punched several times in the head by a man in a pickup while waiting for a bus.

The man is described as being white, 40 to 50 years old, 5′ 8″ with short white, balding hair and scruffy facial hair.

The pickup truck had an Ontario license plate possibly starting with “AA” and with the number 3 in it.
