Police urge residents to check properties for missing Ancaster woman

Hamilton police are making a plea to residents in Ancaster to check their properties for a missing 78-year-old woman.

Denise Gloster was last seen Sunday evening in the area of Mineral Springs Rd. and Slote Rd.

She is described as being five-foot-five and 130 lbs.

Police say Gloster has early onset dementia and is an avid walker.

They say there is a concern for her well-being.

Gloster’s daughter posted on Twitter that her mother got up during the night and walked away from her home. She also indicated that her mother has gone missing in the past.

In a tweet posted Monday morning, Hamilton police asked residents to check their property grounds and outbuildings for the missing woman.

If she is found, please call 911. Anyone with additional information on her whereabouts is asked to contact 905-546-8965.
