Police standoff in Brantford

Brantford Police are negotiating with a man at a Brantford hotel.

Witnesses say officers are in the hallway of the “Comfort Inn” at Wood Street and King George Road, talking to a man barricaded in a room.

This has apparently been going on since Saturday afternoon. Police say there’s a warrant out for the man’s arrest.
