Police seize $157K worth of drugs in Stoney Creek

A 42-year-old woman is facing charges after police seized roughly $157,000 worth of drugs in Stoney Creek on Tuesday.

Police executed a search warrant at a home on Stoney Creek mountain following an investigation into suspected drug activity in the area.

Officers seized a large quantity of drugs including meth, fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin.

Melissa Syer, of Hamilton, is facing a number of drug trafficking charges as well as possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
