Police seeking witnesses of pedestrian hit-and-run in Brantford

Police are seeking information from anyone who witnessed a collision in Brantford.

It happened on May 29 at around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Market Street and Chatham Street.

Brantford police say an unidentified vehicle, described as a grey Sport Utility Vehicle, occupied by a man and a woman passenger, is alleged to have struck a 21-year-old woman before fleeing the scene. The woman was transported to hospital with serious injury.

The vehicle involved is believed to have front-end damage, including a broken headlight.
