Police seek witnesses who helped pedestrian in distress in Oakville

Investigators are looking to identify two witnesses who police say helped a pedestrian in distress following a “serious offence” last month in Oakville.

Halton police say a man and woman stopped their vehicle near Winston Park Drive and Plymouth Drive to help a female pedestrian in distress around 9 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Officers say the witnesses then drove the female to her home and waited with her until they were able to contact her family.

Police are hoping to identify and speak with the two witnesses in this investigation.
