Police seek witnesses after Oakville cyclist struck by car, seriously injured

A 57-year-old cyclist from Oakville was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle early Thursday morning.

Halton police were called out to the intersection of Third Line and Kings College Road in Oakville around 6:15 a.m. where a collision involving a cyclist left a person with serious injuries.

Officials say the cyclist was transported to a out-of-region hospital.

Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on scene, and has been cooperating with the investigation but investigators are now seeking additional witnesses.
