Police seek trio wanted in armed Milton home robbery

Police are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a home in Milton last week.
Halton police say the trio entered the garage of a home on Robert Street around 11 p.m. on Jan. 18.
Officers say two people who were working inside of the garage at the time the male suspects entered were forced into the home.
Once inside, the suspects threatened the residents and demanded cash.
Investigators say the suspects also went to the second floor and searched through drawers and closets looking for valuables before fleeing in a dark-coloured SUV.
No one was injured during the robbery.

Police describe the first male suspect as Black and five-foot-six with a heavy build.
The second male suspect is approximately five-foot-ten and has a medium build.
The third male suspect is described as being Black and five-feet-tall with a thin build.
All three suspects were wearing a black balaclava and dark clothing.
Investigators are appealing to the public for video footage near the intersection of Robert Street and Bronte Street South from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 18.
