Police seek man in gas bar robbery

Hamilton Police are searching for a man, after an armed robbery at an east end gas bar.

Police say a man entered the Petro Canada at King Street East and Sherman Avenue North just after 1:00 Sunday morning. They say he had a knife and demanded money from the clerk.

After taking some cash, the robber took off on foot. Nobody was injured.

The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 23 years old with a heavy build.

Police say he was wearing a black jacket with a hood, and a red cloth over his face.
