Police searching for suspects in central Hamilton shooting

Hamilton Police are looking for two suspects involved in a shooting that occurred just after 11:00pm Thursday night.

Police were called to the area of Wilson St. and Wentworth St.N. after several calls reporting the sound of gunshots. Police arrived on scene and spoke with area residents who say they heard multiple males arguing followed by gunshots. Witnesses also claim they saw at least two men running away.

Investigators confirm shots were fired from a handgun. There are no injuries reported and no victims have come forward.

It is not known at this time who or what was the intended target of the shooting.
