Police searching for three people believed to be involved in Oakville carjacking

Halton police are searching for three people believed to be involved in a carjacking that happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday night in Oakville.
Officers say a BMW sedan was stolen while the owner was parking in his own driveway near William Rose Way and White Boom Drive.
As he was pulling in, a dark coloured BMW SUV entered the driveway. Two people emerged from the SUV, pulled the man out of the car and demanded he hand over the keys.
After obtaining the keys, the two people drove away in the sedan. According to investigators, they were last seen heading south on Dundas Street East.
Police say no weapons were mentioned or observed, and the vehicle owner was not injured.
Both people believed to be involved in the carjacking are described as male, around 5’10”, with brown skin and heavier builds.
They were seen wearing dark coloured hoodies, toques and medical masks.
Investigators say a third person was driving the SUV, but could not release a description yet.
