Police search for Hamilton robbery suspect

Hamilton Police are searching for a man who is suspected of robbing a woman near Wilson and Wellington Streets over the weekend.

Police describe him as:

• white
• around 5’11”
• has a thin build
• was wearing a red hoodie, with the hood pulled over his face

The suspected allegedly approached a 28-year old woman from behind shortly after midnight on Saturday, grabbed her purse and fled on foot. The woman was not injured.
