Police search for wanted man following stabbing in Niagara Falls

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect following a stabbing incident in Niagara Falls.
Niagara police say they responded to reports of a stabbing on April 8 on Buchanan Ave. between North and Kitchener Streets.
Upon arrival, officers found a 42-year-old Niagara Falls residents who was suffering from a minor non-life threatening stab wound.
Police say the victim has since been released from hospital and have determined that the suspect and victim were known to each other.

Zachary James Hill, 32, of Niagara Falls is currently wanted for assault with a weapon. Police say he knows he is wanted and is evading capture to avoid his pending arrest.
Officers ask the public to not approach Hill if he is seen as the involved knife has not been recovered.
