Police search for two men following sexual assault in St. Catharines

Niagara police are investigating a sexual assault that took place on April 5 in St. Catharines.

According to police, a woman in her 50s told officers she was attacked and sexually assaulted by two strangers while walking in the area of Glendale Avenue and Kerr Street around 1 a.m.

Following the assault, the two men ran away on foot. The woman returned home, where she contacted police.

Officers say she was unable to give a description of her attackers.

Despite deploying the K9 Unit to assist in the search, police have been unable to identify the two men.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area with cell phones, CCTV, or dash cam video to review their footage.
