Police are trying to identify three men wanted in a random assault on the Hamilton Mountain earlier this month.

Officers were called to a shopping plaza on Upper Gage Ave. and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway around noon on Feb. 4.

They say an autistic man was walking alone when he was attacked from behind by three men.

According to police, one of the three sprayed the victim with a substance similar to bear spray. The attackers fled to a nearby vehicle, which had a person waiting inside.

Police say the vehicle was a black, four-door Ford Fusion, with winter tires on the front and regular tires in the back.
