Niagara police are searching for two suspects after credit card skimming machines were found at a gas station in Welland.

At the beginning of February, police say a customer at a gas station in the area of Lincoln Street East and Dunkirk Road discovered a credit card skimming machine and alerted a staff member who removed it.

A skimmer is an electronic device that is installed illegally on card readers in order to collect card information from unsuspecting victims.

A second card reading device was found by an employee at the same location on Feb. 23.

Police say they have obtained photographs of two suspects wanted in connection with these card skimming devices.

Suspect number one is described as a tan man with a black beard, approximately 30-years-old, five-foot-ten to six-feet in height, with a medium build and glasses.

He was wearing a black hoodie, black shoes, and black pants with a white stripe down the sides.

Suspect two is also described as a tan man, approximately five-foot-ten to six-feet in height, with a medium build.

He was seen wearing a black Air Jordan jacket with red accents, a black baseball hat, a neck warmer with a white New York Yankees logo, grey sweatpants, and black shoes.

Police say the two suspects may be related to an older model white Ford F250 pickup truck with an extended cap and white cap on the bed. The passenger window reportedly has numbers on it.
