Police search for missing 25-year-old woman in Brampton

Investigators are asking for help from the public as the search for a missing 25-year-old woman continues in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police say Yashika Gupta was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the area of Steeles Ave. West and Clementine Dr.

Gupta is described as a South Asian woman with a medium complexion. She is 5-foot-3 with a medium build, straight black hair, and dark brown eyes.

Police say Gupta was last seen wearing a long burgundy sleepwear/tracksuit with black snow shoes.

Family members as well as police are concerned for her well-being.
