Police search for men in attempted robbery and shooting in Milton

Halton police are searching for three men after an attempted robbery on the street, which led to a shooting at a home in Milton.

Investigators say three men approached the victim near their home in the area of Ethridge Ave. and Cretien St. around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They say the trio demanded the victim turn over their belongings. The victim then ran toward their house and closed the door. Police say one of the men fired a shot into the door of the victim’s home. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspects then fled the area in a grey, four-door vehicle.

Police are looking for three men between the ages of 18 and 21.

The first suspect is described as black, with a thin build and braids in his hair. He was wearing a black winter jacket with fur trim on the hood and black pants. The second suspect is described as white and was possibly wearing a red jacket.

Police describe the third as having brown skin and was wearing all black.
