Three men have been charged in the theft of personal protective equipment from their Burlington workplace.

Halton police say the trio are employees of a business that sells safety and cleaning products.

They say since September, large quantities of latex gloves and cleaning chemicals have gone missing from the business. Over $300,000 worth of goods was stolen.

Investigators say the theft was orchestrated by three employees.

Jonathan Kendall, 19, and Joel Owatan, 24, both of Burlington, have been charged with four counts of theft over $5,000. Alexander Tejada, 28, of Oakville faces the same charges.
