The Hamilton Police Fraud Squad is warning the public about a phone scam involving Sick Kids.

They say police have received reports about scammers calling people in the area to solicit money for the hospital on behalf of the Hamilton Police Association.

Officers say the fraudster may be using the number 905-769-1967.

Police say people should save their money and just hang up.
