Police say guns stolen in Brantford home invasion

Brantford Police are searching for four men who stole guns during an home invasion in the city.

Police say the break-in happened at a home near Memorial Dr. and Kensington Ave. around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

The occupants were home at the time.

They were not injured but police say firearms were taken from the residence.

Officers say they don’t believe this was a random act and there is no threat to public safety.

Police have released suspect descriptions.

Suspect #1: Male, white, 40s thin build, approximately 6’ tall, wearing white shoes, blue jeans, black jacket and a white ball cap.

Suspect #2: Male, white, 40s regular build, dark short hair and a dark short beard, wearing black shoes, black pants and a red t-shirt.

Suspect #3: Male, white, 50s, bulky build, taller than 6’, with a long white scruffy beard, wearing brown shoes, dark jeans, black hooded jacket and a black ball cap.

Suspect #4: Male, white, 50s, thin build, approximately 5’10”, bald, wearing black shoes, blue jeans and a black hooded jacket.
