Police say foul play not suspected in fatal Fort Erie house fire

Niagara police say foul play is not suspected in the fatal house fire in Fort Erie on Monday.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the area of Crescent Rd. and Englewood Crt. just before 5 a.m.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived. A man was rescued from inside the home but died at the scene.
In a news release on Tuesday, police say they have completed their investigation at the scene and do not suspect foul play.
They say the man killed in the blaze has been identified but his name is not being released.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is still investigating the cause of the fire.
