Police release photos from Brant Country Christmas Day business break-in

Criminals used an SUV to bust into a Brant County business in the early hours of Christmas day.

Brant County OPP arrived at an un-named business on Simcoe Street shortly after 4 a.m. on reports that unknown individuals used a brown 2002 GMC Envoy to break into the building and steal multiple items.

The licence plate of the Envoy is: AJDN 939. A dark-coloured pickup truck was also seen in the area.

Three men and one woman were caught on camera during the break-in.

Within the same hour a business on Cockshutt Road in nearby Norfolk County was broken into and surveillance images revealed the same SUV to be nearby.

Some of the same people were captured on video and police believe that the two incidents are linked. The investigations are ongoing.
