Police release photo of suspect vehicle involved in Niagara Falls stabbing

Police have released a photo of a vehicle believed to have been involved in a stabbing last weekend in Niagara Falls.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 3, officers found a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds in the area of Eastwood Cres. and Ontario Ave.
Police said the woman was taken to hospital, where she remains in serious but stable condition.
Investigators say the woman and unknown man met in the area of Falls Ave. and Clifton Hill about 20 minutes before the stabbing.
The duo left the area in what police now believe to have been a 2017 or 2018 Dodge Ram Sport edition four-door pick-up truck.
As seen in the photo above, officers say the suspect vehicle is delmonico or velvet red, has blacked-out rims, a sunroof, dark-tinted windows, signals at the bottom of the side-view mirrors, matching painted door handles, bumpers and cross in grill, a silver ram head on tailgate, no running boards, no tonneau cover but appears to have a bedliner, and the truck seems to be clean.
The male suspect is described as white and approximately 40 years old. He has brown hair, brown facial hair and a medium build.
Anyone who may recognize the truck is asked to contact detectives by calling 905 688 4111, option 3, ext. 1009059.
