Halton police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect involved in a vehicle theft in Oakville.

Police say a Lexus SUV was stolen during the early morning hours of Tuesday from the driveway of a residence on Ninth Line and Dundas Street East.

The suspect abandoned the vehicle not far from the area and police later recovered it.

Police have obtained interior dashcam of the thief driving the stolen vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation or identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 905-825-4777 ext. 3407.
