Police make arrest in St. Catharines stabbing investigation

Police have arrested and charged 30-year-old Rohan Chandler in connection to a fatal stabbing that took place in St. Catharines.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m. on March 30, officers arrived at a home on Niagara Street, where they found a man with serious stab wounds.
Investigators later identified the victim as 56-year-old Victor Clayton, and confirmed Chandler was known to him at the time of the attack. He died in hospital on April 1.
Police arrested Chandler in Peterborough on April 8, and have charged him with second degree murder and failure to comply with a probation order.
He is being held in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing on April 8 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
