Police looking for witnesses after woman, 71, was hit on Upper Gage

A 71-year-old woman is expected to make a full recovery after she was hit on Upper Gage near the Linc yesterday afternoon.

Police say the woman was crossing Upper Gage near Lockton Crescent when he was hit by a vehicle that was being driven by a 60-year-old man.

Police say the impact did not happen at a designated crosswalk. They also say speed and impairment have been ruled out and are asking any witnesses to give them a call.
