Police looking for second tire involved in fatal QEW accident

The investigation continues into the death of a Hamilton woman whose car was hit by a tractor trailer tire that came loose.

Police now believe a second tractor trailer tire dislodged as well, and are asking for the public’s help in finding it.

Earlier this week, police found the truck that lost at least one wheel on the QEW near Burlington Thursday morning, killing Miroslawa Chmielewski, a mother of three.

Anyone who may have found the second truck tire is asked to contact the Ontario Provincial Police.
