Federal offender arrested in Hamilton

Hamilton police say they’ve arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

It was believed Robert Andrews, 49, was in Hamilton at the time of his arrest.

He was wanted for breach of his parole while serving a two and a half year sentence for attempted murder and criminal harassment.

Andrews was also known to frequent Guelph, Cambridge, Barrie, and London.

He is currently in police custody.
