Police look for suspect involved in a sex assault in East Hamilton

Hamilton police are trying to track down a man involved in a sexual assault. Early Sunday morning a woman was in the area of King Street East and Steven Street when she was taken to an address on East Avenue in a mini-van and then sexually assaulted.

Police released a photo of the van which was captured on security video. It’s described as a dark blue Dodge Caravan with a loud muffler and tinted rear windows.

The man is described as roughly six feet tall, between the ages of 25 and 35. he was wearing black pants, a grey zip up hoodie and a black belt with a prominent belt buckle.

Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
