Police look for escaped sex offender

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in finding an escaped sex offender.

57-year old Stephen Jones is a psychiatric patient at St. Joseph’s Psychiatric Hospital. He was last seen on Friday, April 19th at 2:40 p.m. Police say he is considered a danger to the public and has convictions for sex related offences.

Jones is described as caucasian male, five foot six, approximately 150 lbs., with blue eyes, short grey hair, grey stubble and dentures. He was wearing a green sweater, blue coat, gray coat, blue pants and black boots.
