Police investigating suspicious vehicle in Binbrook after driver tells teen to get in

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspicious vehicle that was seen in Binbrook.

Police say shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1st, a 14-year-old girl was pushing a child in a stroller along Bradley Avenue near Magnificent Way, when two men in a white cargo style van stopped them.

The driver told the teen to get in the vehicle, twice. She screamed and ran to a nearby home.

The van was last seen heading north on Bradley Avenue. Detectives are appealing to area residents to check their security cameras for a vehicle matching the van’s description.

The driver is described as white and in his 20’s with black hair, black beard and moustache, dark coloured eyes and was wearing a black t-shirt.
