Police investigating a street fight in Hamilton

Hamilton police are investigating a large street fight that happened in Hess village.

Central Police say it happened around 12:40 this morning.

When officers arrived a crowd of people were seen scattering in the street. Police estimate those people are in their late teens to early 20’s.

Early reports suggest someone was sprayed with a substance which police say could have been dog or bear spray but they weren’t able to confirm.

No one was injured but police are investigating.

Earlier today, officers collected video surveillance from the restaurants and bars in the area.
