Police investigating single-vehicle crash on Mill Street in Waterdown

Hamilton police are investigating a crash near the Smokey Hollow Waterfall on Mill Street.

Emergency crews were called to the area just after midnight on Wednesday.

A man driving an SUV crashed into a bunch of trees, trapping him inside the vehicle.

Hamilton fire crews used chainsaws to remove the trees and get to the driver.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
