Police investigating shooting on Hamilton mountain
Hamilton Police are asking for surveillance video as they investigate a late night shooting on the mountain on Monday.
Officers responded to reports of a single gunshot fired in the area of Stone Church Rd. E and Redmond Dr. around 11 p.m. Monday.
Police say two groups of men had some sort of dispute in the area, leading to a gun being fired.
The men left before police arrived on scene. Police say the shot hit an empty parked vehicle.
According to police, there is no evidence to suggest anyone was injured.
Police are asking area residents to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity.
