Man in critical condition following shooting at Niagara Falls inn

Update: Police are now looking for 26-year-old Nieko Luigi Bodine and 25-year-old Kathleen Bacon, both from Hamilton in connection to a shooting in Niagara Falls.

It happened at the Howard Johnson Inn on Lundy’s Lane around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say a man was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an out of region hospital and is in stable condition.

“It is early in the investigation; however, this appears to be a targeted event,” said Niagara Regional Police Service.

The two suspects were last seen leaving the area in a black or navy blue 4-door car.

Nieko is described as, white, 5’9, 150 lbs with brown hair and eyes. Kathleen is described as, white with blonde hair.

Police say Bodine and Bacon are considered armed and dangerous, if you seen them, do not approach and call 911.
