Police investigating overnight shooting on Hamilton Mountain

Police presence is expected on Hamilton Mountain today after an overnight shooting.

Police say they responded to the West 18th St. area between Mohawk Rd. W and Sanatorium Rd. on Monday around 3:00 a.m.

Officers secured the area and searched for anyone involved, but the suspects had fled the scene.

Investigations have led police to confirm a shooting incident took place.

There have been no reported injuries to police or local hospitals.

Detectives are asking residents in the area to check security cameras for any suspicious activity.
