Police investigating gunpoint robbery at a St. Catharines home

Niagara police are investigating after two men robbed a man of his vehicle at gunpoint early Tuesday morning in the area of Ernest and Dorothy Sts. in St. Catharines.
From home security footage released by police, you can see a man armed with a handgun confront the victim in his doorway and demand the keys to his Land Rover SUV that was in the driveway. During the confrontation, the suspect hit the victim with the gun.
Both men are described as white, between 18 to 25 years old, 5,10′ tall, with a slim build.
They were both wearing grey hoodies, grey sweatpants, black shoes and had black satchels around their shoulders. They were wearing black masks, and one was carrying a black handgun.
The victim’s stolen SUV is a blue, 2006 Land Rover, Range Rover sport with Ontario license plate CRVD 937.
Detectives believe this was a random incident.
