Police investigating Friday’s explosion at home on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police remain at the scene of a house explosion on the west Mountain.
Firefighters received multiple calls about a possible explosion at a home on Bonaventure Dr., near Clifton Downs Rd., around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police were also called to the scene.
Fire officials say the home had been completely leveled and there was damage to neighbouring homes.
No one was found inside the home and there were no reports of injuries.
Police say the Ontario Fire Marshal is working with Hamilton police for the investigation.

Officers are expected to be at the scene while the investigation is underway.
