Police investigating deadly crash on Highway 6 at Carlisle Rd.

One woman is dead and several others seriously injured after a five vehicle pile-up on Highway 6 in Flamborough.

OPP says it began with a large truck hitting the back of an SUV, which led to more collisions.

A 24-year-old woman from Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people were taken to hospital in critical life-threatening condition, a man in his 50’s and a woman in her 30’s, suffering traumatic injuries.

A 45-year-old man was also taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Roads are expected to be closed for several hours while police investigate.
