Police investigating after seven shots fired at Niagara Falls home Sunday morning

Niagara police say seven shots were fired at a home in Niagara Falls Sunday morning.

Police say they were called to the area of Sixth Ave. and Hamilton St. around 7 a.m. on Sunday. They say the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m.

According to police, a dark-coloured sedan was seen slowing down in front of the home and firing the shots.

They say there were people in the home at the time but no one was injured.

Police are asking area residents and businesses to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity, specifically between 5:20 a.m. and 6 a.m.

They say they believe this was a targeted incident.
