Police investigating after body found in Lake Ontario

Halton police are investigating after a body was found floating in Lake Ontario Wednesday.

Police say a man in his seventies was found in the water near Bronte Harbour Marina in Oakville just before 3 p.m.

He was found without vital signs and pronounced dead in the hospital.

Police say they will not be releasing his identity until his family is contacted.

It has not yet been determined if his death is suspicious or not.
